Foundational Nutrition / Essential Amino & Fatty Acids. 100% pure cold pressed hemp oil Non GMO. Herbacide & pesticide free. Canadian grown.
Unique from other oils, hemp is a highly beneficial source of Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) as it offers the correct balance of Omega 3 and 6. It has the perfect ration of EFAs and contains Vitamins D, E, A and cholesterol-fighting phytosterols. Hemp contains sizeable amounts of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) and is one of nature’s richest sources of magnesium. Then to top it all off hemp oil does not threaten our oceans and is environmentally stable.
A few areas Heightened Hemp Targets:
The World Health Organization warns of dangerous levels of mercury being consumed through eating fish, and scientists are also monitoring dangerous radiation levels in Pacific Ocean fish. There has never been a better time to consider Hemp oil’s virtues!
Sustainable Hemp Oil – Better for the Environment
Because hemp seed oil is plant-based, cold pressed, packaged and stored appropriately it does not oxidize and spoil as easily.
In addition to being safe to consume, hemp seed oil is more sustainable than fish oil because it does not upset ocean ecosystems and reduce sizable fish populations necessary to support fish living in the upper areas of the food chain. In addition, hemp plants are pest and disease resistant, help reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and provide hemp seeds from which we can cold-press versatile, nutritious and eco-friendly hemp seed oil.
Oils from most fish that are used to cultivate fish oil capsules (such as salmon, herring, mackerel, anchovies and sardines) have a profile of around seven time the omega-3 oil as omega-6 oils. Hemp seed oil contains the optimal 1:4 ratio of omega-3 to 6 required for body consumption and use.
